Green Lake Animal Hospital

I have been going to Green Lake Animal Hospital for over a year for wellness visits and diagnostic exams for my senior dog, and every employee I’ve interacted with has been fantastic! Dr. Amanda Reed is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and is happy to answer all of my questions. I never feel rushed, and I really appreciate how involved she keeps me in my dog’s care. I also had the opportunity to work with Nora, one of the veterinary assistants, who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. She took great care of both my dog and me during our visit, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the pets and clients she works with. I have some financial constraints as well and they were willing to explain to me what treatments were recommended and why. As well as willing to work with me to figure out a plan to schedule testing for different days to help break up cost where possible. It’s especially reassuring to have a veterinary team I can trust with my senior dog and feel confident that they truly care about her well-being. I would highly, highly recommend Green Lake Animal Hospital and would absolutely trust them with my dog’s care!

Was nervous to get my 19 month old sighthound spayed, but the staff was so reassuring and friendly and thorough. Dr. Blouin performed an OVE without incident and my girl healed quickly, showing no sign of discomfort. I did follow the med schedule to completion. They called the day after to check in which was really great and made it clear that they are available should any issue arise. They also charged me less than the estimate which was a pleasant surprise. That never happens these days! Highly recommend!

I started taking my dog, Twiggy, to Green Lake Animal Hospital about 3 years ago. Despite moving away from the area, I still travel about an hour round trip to take my dog here, and that's because of our vet, Dr. Liz Spencer, and the excellent staff here. Dr. Spencer is an outstanding vet who is kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and always takes the time to thoroughly discuss things and make sure all of my questions are answered. I really appreciate this, especially when I was deciding whether to do a dental cleaning for my dog and was nervous about putting her under anesthesia. The vet techs, vet assistants, and front desk staff have always been great and very kind. My dog is reactive to other dogs, and the staff always helps coordinate a smoother entry to our appointment when the clinic is busy. To me, what stands out the most about this clinic is how communicative and accessible it is. It is easy to reach the clinic, and I love being able to utilize text or email to make my appointments or ask questions. The clinic workflow is great-- wait times for appointments are consistently reasonable-- and I love that they added an urgent care clinic too. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Spencer in particular. Thank you to the GLAH team for everything!

Dr. Spenser and her team where great with my dog and were able to retrieve foxtail from her ear canal without sedation. I also appreciated ability to get an appointment quickly on Saturday morning. Thank you!
