The staff is obviously overwhelmed with the patients they take on. My dog is very reactive and we left today with only inappropriate comments made by staff. Today my dog was extra barky and we waited outside until the lobby was free of any pets. At this point it was already 15 minutes past our appointment time and my wife and I were frustrated. We had called three hours ahead of time and let staff know our pet had pale gums and random breathing fits. With him barking and being so worked up we were worried he’d have another episode. Shilo was very kind over the phone but was not very polite when he approached us today. They asked us if we thought a room might help his barking. Mind you…. We’re there for an exam. We need a room for an exam. My wife said “probably; probably not.” It really depends on our dogs attitude unfortunately. I was frustrated at this point and asked if it’s a problem that he’s barking. He has come here many times. They should know he’s not a fan of literally anything that moves by now. Shiloh hesitated and so I asked again and told my wife to leave with the dog. We put the dog up and I asked to speak with a practice manager where I was met with some abrasive behavior and attitude. I did not raise my voice or call anyone names. Yet they treated me like I was a belligerent random. I explained that I felt like my dogs needs were not met and we were being shamed for behavior they have known about for well over a year now. The practice managers response was that she stands behind her team. Understandable? I don’t expect you to scream or yell at the team members? I was speaking as a frustrated and worried owner. All while I was trying to explain the situation to the manager Shiloh would cut me off and would claim I was lying. I think it was unprofessional to even have this conversation in front of them. Instead of communicating with me in private I felt like I had to shame the workers. Inappropriate. Instead of letting me explain my frustrations I was called a liar and was made to seem like I was ridiculous. -I waited 30 minutes for an appointment -Staff was rude and unprofessional -I was shamed about my pet who is already struggling and sick Just very unprofessional today compared to how they normally are. I loved it here before today. They usually are polite and care about my pets and concerns. This was the first time my pet came in for an illness exam and I left scared and unsure what to do about my dog being sick. I ended up taking him to the ER for having another fit and they treated him for an upper respiratory infection. We will now have to start all over with a reactive dog which is not something me and my wife look forward to doing.

They blocked my calls and text after I spent money on vaccinations and I did not get the other half of my cats deworming I paid for or get to turn in her fecal test because I would not spend almost 800 dollars to spay her I'm 59 years old on a fixed income I told them that it I really feel it's because I'm black .

I’ve been taking my kitty here for annual checkups since I first adopted her. I love the style here: a very practical approach to pet care with no up-selling pressures. The office is small and personal but be aware that there are not separate entrances or waiting areas for cats and dogs which may not work for your pet. I plan to keep returning though!
