They completely saved my two-year-old cat’s life. For over a year, she struggled with a severe, drug-resistant nasal infection. Despite spending tens of thousands of dollars on diagnostics and treatments with little success, therapeutic laser therapy was our last-ditch effort. After just a few sessions, her improvement has been incredible, she has visibly less facial inflammation and significantly reduced mucus. While this treatment might not work for every cat, her calm temperament allowed us to try it, and it made all the difference.

I have been a client at Sunset Hill for 13 years. I come in for routine care, and all four of my sport dogs see Dr Lamb for both annual orthopedic check-ins and for acute care. Dr Lamb and her staff (calling out Krista, Kristen, Coral, Luca and Ashley!) have gone above and beyond in helping me care for my athletes over the years. I have moved an hour outside of Seattle, and I tried to move my dogs’ routine care to nearby vets. I’ve been to multiple vets closer to home and ultimately just accepted that I would be driving back to Sunset Hill. The doctors and staff listen to you, work within your limitations and are honest and patient. Doctors respect (and appreciate!) consent protocols and do their best to accommodate care requests. I know so many people with horrible veterinary experiences, and I’ve had the experience of having my own knowledge of my dog dismissed at other offices and specialists, only to be proven right—and my dog stressed out and scared, and my precious cooperative care training smashed to bits. I know how valuable it is to have your knowledge of your dog respected, to have your training protocols respected, to have your DOG respected as an individual whose feelings do actually matter. That gets lost in a lot of practices, when schedule and stress and the pressures of running a business overtake the actual mission of caring for animals. I know how lucky I am to have a relationship of mutual respect and appreciation with your animals’ care team. It’s something I do not take lightly.

Our cats get excellent care from Sunset Hill veterinary and Rehab clinic. We have three cats, which is a challenge for scheduling and getting through our visit; they make it smooth and straightforward. They are professional, kind, and so helpful!
